Biography

Ms Justice Ann Power
Sole Member of the Tribunal

Ms Justice Power is a Judge of the Court of Appeal.

She has served, previously, as a Judge of the European Court of Human Rights in
Strasbourg (2008-2015) and as the Presiding Judge of the Constitutional Court
Chamber of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, an internationalised war crimes
Tribunal, in The Hague (2017-2019).

As a Judge of the Court of Appeal, Ms Justice Power served as Chairperson of the
CervicalCheck Tribunal (2020-2024) and as a Judge of the World Bank Tribunal
(2020-2025), an independent judicial body that issues binding judgments on
employment related disputes within the World Bank Group

Called to the Bar of Ireland in 1993 and to the Inner Bar in 2006, Ms Justice Power
practised as a Barrister in Public, Constitutional and Medical Law. She has taught in
universities throughout Europe and the United States.

Ms Justice Power is a Bencher of the King’s Inns (2008) and a Bencher of the Inner
Temple, London (2023).
